How to enable transfers for TiVo Desktop and Multi-Room Viewing
*All fields required unless otherwise indicated.
You can enable transfers online, using Manage Account. To do this:
1. Log into My Account. For information on how to log into Manage My Account, go to How Do I Log into Manage My Account?
2. Click Change DVR Preferences.
3. Click on the box under Allow Transfers and Enable video downloads on DVRS to allow Multi-Room Viewing. A check mark in the box denotes that you can transfer content over your home network between DVRs (Multi-Room Viewing), or to a computer (TiVoToGo). You can turn this setting off or on at any time without charge.
4. Click Save Preferences.
NOTE: Changes to this setting take up to 24 hours to take effect. Additionally, all DVRs in your household using Multi-Room Viewing will need to connect to the TiVo Service before this change will appear.
