How do I restart or powercycle the DVR?

To restart your DVR:
1. To restart your DVR:
TiVo with HD menus: Go to TiVo Central > Settings & Messages > Help > Restart or Reset System > Restart the TiVo DVR.
TiVo with SD menus: Go to TiVo Central > Messages & Settings > Restart or Reset System > Restart the TiVo DVR.
2. Press THUMBS DOWN three times and then press ENTER.
If you cannot restart the DVR from the TiVo menus:
1. Remove the power cord from the back of the DVR.
2. Wait at least 15 seconds and then reinsert the power cord.
