How to Force a Connection to the TiVo Service
*All fields required unless otherwise indicated.
To manually initiate a connection to the TiVo service:
Roamio Series DVRs and Premiere Series DVRs
From TiVo Central > Settings & Messages > Settings > Network > Connect to the TiVo service now
From TiVo Central > Messages & Settings > Settings > Phone & Network > Connect to the TiVo service now
After any successful connection (whether manual or automatic), the TiVo DVR will automatically attempt another connection within the next 48 hours. If your DVR is unable to establish a connection to the TiVo service, please see the following articles for assistance:
