You can use My Account to:

  • Activate TiVo Service — Activate service on a TiVo box.
  • Box Preferences — Name your TiVo boxes and set their sharing preferences. (The changes take effect the next time your box connects to the TiVo Service.)
  • Change credit card — Change the credit card that your TiVo service is being billed to.
  • View billing history — View the billing history for your account.
  • Change contact info — Update your name, address, and phone number.
  • Change login info — Change your password and e-mail address.
  • Change your payment plan — Change your TiVo service payment plan within 30 days of activation.
  • Select a future payment plan — Select the payment plan your service will roll over to when your current payment plan ends.
  • Link and Unlink a TiVo Stream — You can link or unlink a TiVo Stream on your account at any time.

NOTE: If you have not yet activated your TiVo service, go to Activate a TiVo box.

NOTE: You cannot cancel TiVo service online. To cancel service, contact TiVo Customer Support.


To register for My Account

  1. Go to www.tivo.com/manage.
  2. Click the Register button to the right of the sign-in area.
  3. Enter the e-mail address you used to activate TiVo service and click Submit. You will be sent a temporary password to this email address.
  4. Copy and paste this temporary password into the My Account login screen; be sure you do not copy a space before or after the password.
  5. Enter a new permanent password in the New Password and Re-enter New Password fields and click Sign In.

To log in to My Account

  1. Go to www.tivo.com/manage.
  2. Enter the e-mail address you used when you activated TiVo service.
  3. Enter the password you created when you registered for My Account and click Sign In.

NOTE: If you are having problems logging in to My Account, go to Troubleshooting My Account issues.
