How to Configure the Network Settings
Setting up your TiVo box with a MoCA network is easy! Use the setup scenarios below to determine what you need.

Setup options The following instructions are for use with the TiVo Bridge. If you have a MoCA Network Adapter other than TiVo Bridge, see MoCA Network Adapter Setup.
Before setting up your MoCA Network ensure that:
- All splitters on the MoCA network must meet the required 1650 MHz or higher’. This rating should appear on the label, as shown in the image below:

Note: A 2000 MHz splitter is acceptable and likely easier to find.

Use a TiVo Bridge Plus to connect your OTA TiVo Devices Use this setup when you have a:
- TiVo EDGE for Antenna and TiVo BOLT OTA

Use this setup when you have a:
-
TiVo EDGE for Cable, TiVo BOLT, Roamio Plus/Pro, or Premiere 4/XL4/Elite that is in a different room from the router and/or doesn't have access to an Ethernet connection
or
-
4-tuner Roamio, 2-tuner Premiere Series, Series3, HD/HDXL, or Series2 DT
Note: You will also need a TiVo Bridge Plus or other MoCA Network Adapter at the DVR.
Hookup (at modem/router)
The TiVo Bridge has:
- Inbound coax port coming from the coax outlet
- Ethernet cable (blue line) which goes to a router, into a splitter and back to the coax outlet
The TiVo Bridge Plus has an:
- Inbound coax port coming from the coax outlet
- Ethernet cable (blue line) which goes to a router, into a splitter and back to the coax outlet
- Outbound coax going to the modem.
Other people makes use of MoCA adapter for example Actiontec:
Actiontec Ethernet-over-Coax Bridges (ECB)
- ECB is also used to connect to the MoCA network.
- It has two coaxial outlets
1. In - connects to the coaxial outlet
2. Out - connects to the UES/DVR

Use your TiVo device to create a MoCA network
Use this setup when you have a:
- TiVo EDGE, TiVo BOLT, Roamio Plus/Pro, or Premiere 4/XL4/Elite in the same room as your modem

Note: If you have an Ethernet jack in the wall, there's a good chance you have an Ethernet switch or hub in your setup. If so, you may want to try connecting your TiVo directly to the router to determine if there is a problem with the network infrastructure.

Connect your TiVo device and a tuning adapter to an existing MoCA network

Use two two-way splitters (one is included with the TiVo Bridge)
or use a three-way splitter to eliminate some cords:

1. Remove the coaxial cable from the TiVo device
2. Attach the coax cable from the wall to a coax splitter
3. From the coax splitter, connect one coax cable to the tuning adapter, and one to the TiVo device
4. Connect the USB cable from the tuning adapter to the TiVo device. Note: TiVo BOLT users: always connect the USB cable to the TOP USB port.
5. Plug in the tuning adapter power cable

1. Change network settings
